What documents do I need when renting a car?
To rent a car with EjarCar.com, you’ll need to submit the following documents: Passport or Emirates ID Copy, Driver’s License, Valid Credit Card.
If you’re visiting the UAE, you’ll have to submit your Entry Visa Stamp.
I am under 25. Am I allowed to rent?
In most locations, the minimum car renting age is 21 years. Additional fees can apply with certain car rental companies. For drivers aged under 25 years or over 65 years, we will advise the customer of any applicable fees. Minimum age requirements on larger cars may also vary in some locations.

What is EjarCar.com?
EjarCar.com is an online booking broker service that allows people to rent cars online. The website partners with car rental companies in UAE and connects them with customers who can book the car online.
How can I rent a car online?
The car can be rented using a valid Visa or Mastercard credit card. The complete details of the customer are required. Residents must have a valid driving license for at least 6 months. Tourists need a valid International Driving Permit.
Which cities are currently covered?
Currently we are focused on Dubai car rentals and will be increasing our coverage to include other cities shortly.
What do I need to rent a car in UAE?
At the time of car collection, the customer needs to present a copy of his passport, valid credit card in his name and driving license details. In addition a security deposit is also charged to account for fines and tolls. This deposit is returned usually after two weeks but the duration may vary depending on the car rental company.
What happens after I book a car online?
After the car is booked online, the customer receives a confirmation email and the car is arranged for the pickup date. The car needs to be picked up by the customer at the car rental company or it gets delivered to the customer if that option is selected. In case of a cancellation, the customer must inform us at least 24 hours before for a full refund.
What do I do if I need a refund?
Send us an email to cancel the booking at least 24 hours in advance. In case of a cancellation before 24 hours a partial refund will be applied. See our refund policy for more details. In case of a no show, a one day rental charge will apply.
How can I change my online booking?
Send us an email for changes 48 hours in advance and we’ll try our best to accommodate the changes. Last minute changes might not be feasible, in which case we’ll need to cancel and issue a refund.
