Known for the infamous Burj Khalifa, Dubai is now proud to show off another ornamental skyscraper, the Gevora hotel.

Developed by the Al Attar Group, The Gevora hotel officially opened earlier last week. Being the group’s first venture into hospitality, the ‘all gold’ 75-storey property is now a part of Dubai’s glorious concrete jungle, and has been crowned as the World’s tallest hotel, topping at 357 metres. Speaking of which, the title has been bagged from a local neighbor, the JW Marquis Towers, which are at 355 metres.

Home to luxury in the form of gold-plated doors, inspired culinary, fantastic views, and a health club with a rooftop pool, the Gevora Hotel is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, close to Dubai’s financial hotspot.  The art and decor aim to impress and of course, you may have also noticed a slight resemblance in design to that one of the Big Ben.

“We are very excited to open the doors to Gevora Hotel. It has been a passion project and finally we are ready to share our vision with the world,” says Jairaj Gorsia, General Manager of Gevora Hotel, in a statement.

The four-star property caters to business travellers and tourists; with 528 rooms, a business centre and boardroom, a cafe and bakeshop, several restaurants and a health club with a view. Rates start at AED600 a night and go up to AED2000 for a two-bedroom unit.
