How do we drive there?

Drive up to Abu Dhabi using E11 route. Head towards Saudi Arabia or Western Region. Arrive at Jebel Dhanna port. Hop on a ship to arrive on the island. Can we stay on the island?

Absolutely! The island has a number of resorts such as Anantara Desert Island Resort and Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort. They also arrange activities such as water sport activities and safaris. The safaris include close encounters with herds of wildlife too. History buffs will love this island. You will find a Nestorian monastery dating back to 600 AD.

How long should we stay at Sir Bani Yas island?

If you are short on time, a day trip will suffice. If you love nature, scenic views and solitude, this is the best place to go. This is one of the most secluded spots in UAE, perfect for honeymoons. This is also one of the most environmentally friendly places in UAE. Nature, wildlife reserve and walking tours, it is a dream come true for nature buffs. This is not the best place for urban city magnets. You may not find the best facilities in terms of technology and shopping will not be a strong suit.
