Automotive Shows Around The World
This year sees two big automotive shows in the UAE: The Automechanika Dubai and the Dubai International Motor Show.
- Automechanika Dubai: Taking place in June (10th to 12th) at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event aims to bring together MENA’s aftermarket automotive industry to display product demos, latest developments in the industry, and opportunities in the region. Last year, companies like Renault and WABCO presented their innovations, which they believe will shape the future.
- Dubai International Motor Show (DIMS): With the tagline of “A turbocharged auto industry event”, the DIMS is a sales driven event that aims to bring forward brands to showcase their cars to buyers who are about 56% likely to buy their next car within 3 months of the show! Interesting, right?
The show is driving the evolution of a Middle East motor industry all set to accelerate to more than 4 million annual vehicle sales by 2020!
