The transmission and powerplant work well together – the upshifts are quite smooth and the downshifts are subtle. However, the car’s performance is not without its faults, especially when it comes to uphill driving. Luckily, most of the roads in major cities around the UAE are straight (without any bumps!) and your daily average speed is something that the car can handle smoothly.
  • It’s practical: For those commuting from Qusais to JLT or from Abu Dhabi to Dubai everyday, this is the car for you. It’s a budget car, with all the specs and features that would be optimal for commutes like those, especially the safety features. Though it looks compact, the Duster is quite spacious.
