For the last 30 years, Lamborghini has focused on supercars; making the launch of its second (yes, you got that right!) SUV a rather surprising one. The very first of its kind, Urus is no longer a concept on paper and is officially on sale!

Blurring the line between practicality and sportiness, Urus is the world’s first Super Sport Utility Vehicle (SSUV). Unlike the first SUV by Lamborghini (the LM-002), Urus is designed with finesse and will become a benchmark for its performance, driving dynamics, usability and its neat ensemble in the luxury segment, proudly carrying forward the heritage of the Lamborghini supercars.

First look: The All New 2019 Lamborghini Urus

Featuring a four liter, Twin turbo V8 with a 650 horsepower under the hood, the Urus goes naught-100kmph in just about 3.6 seconds at 6,000RPM. For a SUV, that is colossal – making it an absolute wonder to drive. 

While the many models of Lambos that you know could only accommodate two people, this one is sure to become a favorite, since it can accommodate adults in the back seat. Its spacious interior is not the only feature that’ll impress you; the Lamborghini Urus retains subtle features of the trademark Lamborghini. The stunning wedge body and angular front facade is sure to turn heads on the road.

Speaking of performance, though the pennings of this car are similar to the Volkswagen MLB platform, Lamborghini have added their fine touch to this car and are claiming that it will outrun (literally) any other SUV in the world right now.
