The Gulf Car Festival is one of the biggest motor shows in the region – the coolest cars in Dubai (and in the region) were on show for the 4th Edition of the festival, between the 15th to the 17th of November.
Launched in 2014, the festival has become one of the most attended shows by petrolheads in the Middle East, where around 1,200 show cars were displayed ranging from the latest car launches to the most exotic vintage cars and these cars are valued at more than 350 million AED!
In addition to that, there were custom cars on show, interesting stunt shows and a wide range of activities for all car (and Instagram/Snapchat) enthusiasts.
Siddharth, our CEO, got to see some of the most insane cars in the region during the festival and also covered it. Click here to check it out.
Some of the highlights from the festival were:
- The Slingshot: A three wheeled vehicle, the Polaris Slingshot is a complete delight for motorheads! While not completely comfortable to drive, the autocycle is perfect for those of you looking for an adventurous ride.
- The Corvette Stingray: While one of the most adored classic cars, the Corvette Stingray has also been reputed for its reliability.
- The Chevy SS: With a completely restored interior and an amazing looking exterior, this legend was quite a sight to look at!
- Some of the biggest car clubs, like the Supra, Mustang club and the Z350 club, from the UAE were here too!
- Deals on Wheels showcased their supercar collection, which was quite amazing.
- It wouldn’t have been a complete car show without a drift competition involving some of the world’s best car drifters (let us know if you managed to catch this!)
- Some amazing and unique paint jobs and wraps!
In the Gulf, this is the place to be if you’d ever want to find such a diverse range of cars and car enthusiasts!
The festival happening a week before Formula 1 definitely geared up most motorheads! If you were at the festival, tell us more about which cars you liked and which ones straight up blew your mind!
